The Role
The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. The School of Engineering is widely recognised for the quality of its teaching, research and industry engagement. Chemical Engineering is one of the core disciplines of the School with multidisciplinary expertise that spans the sciences and engineering. We welcome applicants to join our vibrant academic community that is truly pushing the teaching and research boundaries of fundamental and applied chemical engineering into new and exciting applications such as the future of energy, sustainability, healthcare, advanced manufacturing and process design.
Expertise in your field should be matched by a strong research record, or potential to develop into an independent researcher of international quality, that builds on our strengths in advanced materials, chemical reaction, catalysis, electrochemical engineering, or the design and development of novel process technologies. However, the principal criteria will be research and teaching quality, regardless of research area.
You will have growing international visibility, and contribute to the full spectrum of academic activities, including research, teaching and leadership, in a School that is committed to creating an inclusive environment, where staff and students are valued and respected and have equal opportunities to succeed.
